Enchanted Pet Portraiture & Animal Illustration
Watercolour Splash
A fun and artsy mixed-media take on the traditional animal illustration. These pieces are initially started with iridescent watercolours, and then completed as usual with Prismacolor Premier pencils. Orbs and stars are included for extra sparkle.
The colour palette is utterly your choice, but I am happy to help you narrow it down if needed. Please contact me to discuss any unique or specific requests - I can't wait to hear your ideas!

Natural
An artwork wherein the natural colour of the paper provides the background of the piece; brought to life with Prismacolor Premier colour pencils.

I have a wide range of available colours, including textured papers, and if you desire something specific which is not in my current stock I am happy to try sourcing it. I am also happy to advise on what colours might be best suited to your piece if you are unsure what to choose!

Watercolour Splash - Full Body
The popular Watercolour Splash illustration, with a wider vision! Like their 'headshot' style counterpart shown above, these artworks are created with a background of iridescent watercolours, and finished with Prismacolor Premier pencils. Orbs and stars included!

If you wish to order one of these pieces as a portrait, please make sure you have at least one or two good photographs showing the animal's full body, from nose to tail, and ears to hooves/paws. Contact me to discuss your preferred colour palette and any additional details or special requests.

One of the greatest joys of what I do is being able to give form to the creative ideas and wishes brought to me by my clients. I take commission orders for both animal portraits and original illustrations, and I am also available for creative collaborations.

Just like each of my clients, every commission piece is unique, and so I quote each project on a bespoke basis. I will work to your requirements, however wonderfully weird (or weirdly wonderful!) they may be.
​
However, I appreciate it can be useful to have an idea of the potential cost of the artwork you have in mind, so you can find a basic price guide below. Please note, the prices given are baseline figures for A4 and A3 artworks only, as these are what I am most commonly asked for. However, other sizes (including custom shapes and sizes) can be available on request.

A4 artworks measure 21 x 29.7 centimetres, or 8.27 x 11.69 inches.
A3 artworks measure 29.7 x 42 centimetres, or 11.69 x 16.54 inches.

Extra details, features and embellishments can be quoted additionally, although how much is entirely dependant on their nature and complexity. The examples shown on this page are standard portraits without any extra embellishment, and so would be quoted at the listed prices.

Please note, once a quote has been agreed, I do ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your commission slot. I'm afraid I cannot begin creating your piece until I receive this. The remainder (plus postage if applicable) will then be due once I've finished your piece. I will keep in regular contact with you throughout the duration of the creative process, to ensure I produce a truly special piece of artwork that you can treasure!
