Hello friend, and welcome to Pegasus Astrology!
I'm an artist and astrologer seeking to connect with other creative souls just like you, hoping that through the myths and meanings of the stars I can empower you to embrace inspiration and your true self, and ultimately to craft a life that you love.
My first real introduction to astrology was whilst studying my MA in Myth, Cosmology and the Sacred at Canterbury Christ Church University. A sequence of extraordinary experiences with Astrodrama (for those unfamiliar with this, think psychodrama-meets-astrology) sparked a fascination with the planets and stars, as I came to realise the profoundly transformative power of astrological work. Immediately after completing my MA in 2020, I undertook a two year diploma course in Astrological Studies with the Kairos School of Astrology, which is a professional qualification accredited by the Association of Professional Astrologers International (APAI), and I completed my studies in the Autumn of 2022. By the following Spring, I felt called to spread my wings with my own astrological practice, Pegasus Astrology.
The Pegasus Approach
The approach I take at Pegasus Astrology is strongly guided by my training and background studying under John Wadsworth at the Kairos School, and draws on influences from traditional astrology as well as modern psychological, evolutionary and embodied astrology. I believe it is important to understand our natal charts not just in terms of abstract symbols and metaphors, but as a living ecosystem of interconnected energies and archetypes that exist within us and which evolve, change and grow as we do. I encourage creative, intuitive and hands-on means of coming into communion with the mysteries of your chart outside of the consultation setting, so that you can carry the sacred work we do together forward in your life in ways that feel right to you.
It is suggested that our soul chooses the time and place of our birth for each incarnation, so that our natal chart mirrors the blessings, trials and lessons that we need to take on during this mortal lifetime. Astrology can thus offer us a sense of both purpose and validation, especially when we feel lost or disillusioned, and through offering us alternative perspectives it can help us to find our way on our life path once again. Pegasus symbolises our inner well-spring of inspiration and our connection to our higher self - two things that I believe all human beings have access to - and it is my hope to help you rediscover your own creative soul and find new ways to craft the kind of life that makes you excited to wake up every day.

The Zodiac Wheel: The Circle Of Animals
Did you know that the word 'zodiac' actually derives from the Greek zōidiakós, meaning "circle of little animals"? Each sign of the Zodiac - even those you might not expect such as Libra, symbolised by the scales - has its own animal representative (and some even have more than one!).
If you know me first as an artist, then it will be no secret to you that animals are almost exclusively the object of my creative affection, and so it may be no surprise if I tell you that my early forays into divination were through zoomancy - that is, divination with animals! (I even still offer workshops on this subject from time to time.) Working with animals has become an integral part of my own spiritual path, and so a unique part of my approach to astrological practice is also the way that I like to involve and work with the animal energies of the Zodiac, alongside the more conventional astrological interpretations.
Gaining insight into your life through astrology
Every human being is born with their own unique star chart - a guide to the hidden secrets of the soul. Our chart acts like a map which can help us to navigate everything form our physical or material circumstances (such as vocation, career, finances, health) to relationships (with lovers, family, friends and our wider community) to our emotional or spiritual wellbeing (including karma, themes of past lives and soul purpose).
The study of the stars can expand and inspire our imagination, shift our perspective, and bring us into communion with ourselves at a deeply archetypal level. Each of the astrological planets represents a different facet of our inner world, and getting to know them through our natal charts can bring new understanding to how we see ourselves and our personal circumstances. Astrology can illuminate things about ourselves that perhaps on some level we have always known but never really understood, and help us make sense of and find meaning in our life experiences - even and especially those ones which we find difficult, confusing or traumatic to process in other ways. If we can learn to recognise and shift blockages that come from feelings of fear, inadequacy or failure, we can open the way for inspiration, creativity and love to flow more freely in our lives.
And as there's really no 'right way' to be a creative soul, what that looks like is really up to you!

Frequently Asked Questions
I've never had an astrological reading before; what does it involve?
When you book your reading online, I'll ask you to provide me with your date, time and location of birth - I need this info to draw up your birth chart in advance. There is also the option for you to include additional notes regarding any specifics that you would like to centre the session around. Whilst so-called "general" readings are of course possible, approaching the chart with a specific query or focus in mind usually takes us much deeper into it, usually making the reading far more helpful and meaningful for you. If I know what you are hoping to get from your consultation in advance, then I can tailor your reading to your needs and make sure we focus on the most relevant areas of your chart. Online consultations are conducted on Zoom and you will receive a link to attend your reading after payment is received. As well as a deep analysis of your natal planets in terms of their unique sign and house placements, and also their aspects to each other, we will spend some time considering the current realtime positions of the planets as they are in the sky on the day of your reading, to discover how current astrological energies may be affecting your life. These are called transits, and we can also consider past or future events or circumstances in relation to the astrological transits that occurred/will occur at the time. During the session I will ask you questions and we'll discuss different ideas and interpretations of your chart. Your input is just as important in your reading as mine! You are welcome to take notes, but with your permission I will record the session on Zoom and you will receive a copy of your recording to keep and refer back to. Your session is 100% private and confidential, so I will never share the recording or any identifying details about it without written permission from you.
Does it matter if I don't know my time of birth?
If you don't know your exact time of birth, don't worry - it is possible to still have your chart read. However, without a known birth time it will not be possible to calculate your Rising Sign. This is a significant factor in your chart which is considered to be one of the astrological 'Big Three', along with the Sun and the Moon. Your Rising Sign (or Ascendant) has an important impact on the interpretation of your chart, as it is necessary to know the layout of the twelve astrological houses which tell us the areas of life that your natal planets are most active in. Therefore any reading done without a birth time may not be able to achieve the same degree of depth and detail. If you have an approximate time of birth, you may feel it is preferable to use this rather than none. Please advise me of your approximate time when booking. I don't consider myself to be a 'creative soul' - can I still book a reading with you?
Absolutely! As I've said elsewhere, I truly believe that all human beings are creative and that creativity showcases itself in a myriad of different ways across many different kinds of people. Whilst it is true that I specialise in working with creatives in the traditional sense of the word, to me the phrase 'creative souls' is encompassing of everyone, because life is an art form in itself. Whether you're a fully fledged painter/musician/writer/photographer/[insert artistic calling of choice here] or someone who feels they have no creative background whatsoever (or somewhere in between!), I would be delighted and honoured to explore your birth chart with you.
What does an astrology reading cost?
A full 90 minute astrological consultation is £90. However, if you're not sure yet whether you're ready to commit to the expense of a full reading, you can book a FREE coffee call with me before you decide. These Zoom calls last approximately 30 minutes, and are an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have and to see if we're a good match for each other; astrology readings can get pretty deep, so it's important for you to know that you're comfortable with me as an astrologer before deciding to book.
